When you are beginning to think about your Orlando vacation, one of your primary concerns is where you should stay. Finding the best hotel for your needs can seem like a daunting task when there are so many choices in the area. If you are looking for a great value for your money at a hotel that does not cut corners on comfort or amenities, you should consider staying at the Lake Buena Vista Best Western hotel.

This beautiful, high rise hotel is set right in the middle of Downtown Disney. The prime location of this Best Western allows you to be close to all of the action of the Orlando area. It is only minutes away from all of the attractions the area is known for such as Universal Studios, Animal Kingdom, Busch Gardens, and Sea World. With an heated outdoor pool and private balconies for every room, you will also find your hotel stay relaxing in spite of being right in the middle of all the action that the Orlando area is known for.

You will also quickly realize the Lake Buena Vista Best Western hotel is in a prime location to some equally entertaining, though less well known, options. These options include such varied activities as the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, the Disney Marathon, and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. While many of these activities can be enjoyed by families, there is plenty to do in the area if you are not focused on family activities alone. Some ideas for other activities include the Downtown Disney Market Place, Pleasure Island, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Sea World in Orlando continues to be a major draw for people in the area. You can make the entire experience more affordable by taking advantage of Orlando Sea World packages. You will find a wide range of different packages that have your visits to Sea World built right in. This means that no matter what your needs and desires, you will be able to find a package deal that is right for you.

Some people will only want to package their hotel together with their Sea World tickets. By staying at an area hotel, you will enjoy complimentary shuttle service to the attractions in the area, including Sea World. With shuttle services running throughout the day on a continuous basis, you will not need to worry about planning too far in advance.

Other Orlando Sea World packages that you might be interested in include those that combine your air fare with your stay at a first class hotel. In many cases, you can also purchase discounted tickets to some of the other theme parks and popular attractions in the area as well. While the hotels do provide a daily shuttle service to the most popular attractions, you might want to include a car rental in with your package deal. This gives you the freedom to explore at your heart’s content without having to rely on public transportation or the hotel’s shuttle service.

While we know that when you say the word Florida the first thing to come to every ones mine is Disney World. Disney World packages are abundant and fun is to be had in all of the Orlando theme and water parks, but if you ever get tired of Orlando there are other places to stay and to have fun. Pick yourself up a Kissimmee vacation package and see what this city has to offer you.

Kissimmee has a few family vacation resorts with water slides in them making it a great place to take the kids. The city also offers theme parks, shopping and a pretty great nightlife. A hotel with a water slide and pool can be a pretty great place when you have been riding the rides at the amusement parks all day and just want to relax and soak your tired bones.

Kissimmee also has resorts with quite a few kid friendly activities. Plus they are in close proximity to Orlando so you can still use your Disney World package but stay out of the hub of activity that is Orlando.

One of the most popular resorts with kid friendly activities is Clarion Resort and Parkway. Believe it or not this resort goes the extra mile and offers Character- themed kids suites. Your little ones will be overjoyed when they see their favorite characters greeting them after a long day of amusement parks. The resort also offers a kids playroom and most importantly a water park with three slides and a lazy river.

Another good place to stay and have fun at the same time is Royal Park Suites. Now this one is less than a mile from Disney World so if you are looking to stay out of the hustle and bustle it may not be for you. However the kids will love it there. Royal Park offers everything from video games in the arcade to a playground with monkey bars. Added attractions include a kid’s pool and for the adults in the bunch a nightly happy hour and transportation to the theme parks when you are ready to explore.

Gaylord Palme Hotel and Convention Center has 4.5 acres of indoor gardens. While the kids might not think that is all that the adults will love the peace and serenity of a moonlit or early morning walk through the fragrant paths. Of course the little ones are never left out in Florida so for the kids there is the Clearwater Cove water playground. It comes complete with water falls, jets and mist. Now if for some unlucky reason you are here on business or even if you just need a night to yourself the hotel offers what is called a kids night out. This service provides supervised activities for the kids mostly while the parents do business at the hotel.

These are just a sample of the fun things you can do when you decide to get a Kissimmee vacation package you will have to take our word on how fun it is and how much more there is to be discovered.

There are numerous options for you when you are visiting Orlando. Kissimmee is the town around Disney and Universal and a ton of other attractions. For me there is no question of renting a house versus staying in a hotel. From all my trips to Florida, I can tell you that my wife and kids agree that staying in an Executive House with an in ground personal pool was by far the BEST vacation experience we have had. When we arrived at MCO Orlando airport, we rented a car and drove to the property management office and picked up or house keys. The house we stayed in was a four bedroom, two car garage, large living room with eat in kitchen and a dining room. Each of the kids had their own bedrooms and bathrooms, my wife and I had a very large master bath with access to the pool from the bedroom. The living room had ample seating for watching movies and playing board games (which were in the house). The private pool was awesome! We went grocery shopping and had hot breakfast every morning, popcorn for the movies and a full size fridge for our week’s worth of drinks, fruits and snacks.

Hotels and Motels are also a very popular place to stay, once you rent a private home for a week, a hotel stay will never be the same.

Planning a five-day Orlando vacation can be somewhat overwhelming. There are so many attractions to choose from and you probably want to please everyone you are traveling with. The good news is that there are plenty of Orlando vacation packages available, and each one appeals to a different guest. Whether you want to spend more time with Mickey than Shamu, get a behind-the-scenes look at Hollywood, spend all of your time with animals or be exposed to all of these things, there are vacation packages that will allow you to do it all.

Five-day Disney
No matter how many people are in your party, if you’re booking a five-day trip to Orlando you wish to spend your entire vacation seeing everything there is Disney, this package will sure to please you. With a five-day park-hopper option, you will be granted admission to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Come and go as you please. Spend the morning strolling through trails and stopping by a petting zoo at Animal Kingdom, the afternoon going inside the iconic golf-ball structure at Epcot and the evening seeing the fireworks display at Cinderella Castle. A package like this is perfect for true Disney fans. And you may even opt to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel too. If this is the case, you will be provided with shuttle service to theme parks and have extra Disney perks like on-site Disney gift shops and character breakfasts. After you’ve spent time at the theme parks and your hotel, you can even stop by Downtown Disney where you can dine, shop, catch a live show or even have a cocktail.

Disney and Universal
For guests who want to divide the five-day trip into Disney and Universal parks, this option might be best for you. Spend three days at the Disney parks listed above—and make it a park-hopper option for the ultimate experience—and then spend two days with two-park admission to Universal Orlando Resort where you can get a behind-the-scenes look at movie magic when you venture to Universal Studios and then ride coasters and see your favorite cartoon characters brought to life at Islands of Adventure. Choose to stay at either a Disney or Universal hotel, or opt for a neutral hotel located in the tourist districts of 192 or International Drive. Each offers an array of fine, casual and themed dining as well as shopping and entertainment experiences that are sure to excite you. And while you’re at the theme parks, be sure to head to CityWalk, at Universal, and Downtown Disney to grab a bit to eat, buy some souvenirs or simply just take in all of the scenery.

Disney and SeaWorld
Maybe Universal just isn’t your thing. There’s always the Disney and SeaWorld package. With such a package you can get a four-day pass with a park-hopper option to all four Disney parks and then spend your fifth day watching animals perform at SeaWorld. This package is perfect for Disney enthusiasts who want to break up their trip a little bit but not stray too far from the Disney experience. By just taking one day to spend at a non-Disney park, you will be getting variety and also still leaving yourself plenty of time to spend at Walt Disney World Resort.

Ultimate Five Days of Fun
For guests who want the most variety, you will probably enjoy this package that allows you to visit all of the major theme parks. Get a three-day, park-hopper Disney ticket that grants admission to all four Disney parks at your leisure, then spend one day with a two-park admission to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida while you spend the fifth day at SeaWorld.

However you choose to spend your five days, you will definitely be able to see a lot!

If you have four days to spend in the Orlando area, you will probably want to have some kind of itinerary in mind. You can opt for one of the packages below, mix and match or incorporate additional smaller attractions, shopping experiences or themed dinners into the mix.
Four-day Disney
The ultimate Disney fans will probably want to opt for a package like this. With such a package you can get a ticket to each park for the four days you are in the area or even opt for a park-hopper option that enables you to go in and out of all four parks each day at your leisure. Choose from a park where fairy tales are brought to life at Magic Kingdom, one where you get a behind-the-scenes look into your favorite movies at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a park of technical innovations and a World Showcase at Epcot, or a park full of wildlife at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In addition to the four-day Disney tickets, you can also opt to stay at a Disney resort and take advantage of the transportation and Disney-related perks that come along with it, or you can plan to spend your evenings exploring the shopping, dining and entertainment of Downtown Disney. A package like this is perfect for anyone who is looking for the ultimate Disney experience.

Universal and Disney
To mix it up a bit, you may opt for a package that grants you admission to park-hop at the Disney theme parks for two days and then spend the other two days at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. This package is good for visitors who want a little more variety than just the Disney parks. Choose to stay at a Universal or Disney resort for the ultimate in convenience or stay in a tourist area nearby on 192 or the International Drive area. And spend your evenings dining at the themed restaurants and cafes of CityWalk or Downtown Disney. There you can also shop, see live performances, and even dance and have a few drinks. This package is perfect for the guests who want to spice things up a bit.

SeaWorld and Disney
Perhaps you really want to spend time in Disney. You want to see all of the Disney parks but you also have a soft spot for Shamu. With a package like this, you can see Mickey and Shamu. With a three-day park-hopper Disney ticket, you will be granted admission to all four Disney parks at your leisure. And you can spend your fourth day, or any day in between, watching Shamu and your favorite animals splashing around at SeaWorld.

Ultimate Variety
For guests who want even more of a diverse itinerary, you will probably want a package that includes admission to all of the major theme parks. Such a package will allow you to spend one day seeing aquatic performances at SeaWorld, one day hopping between the two Universal theme parks, and two days hopping between all of the Disney theme parks. This way you are guaranteed a spot at all of the parks.

Remember to also research the areas in which you stay. If you plan on going to only Disney parks, choose accommodations as close to Disney as possible. If you’re going to all of the theme parks, you may instead opt for a resort in a central location. Just be sure to do your research.

Three days may not seem like a lot, but with the right itinerary, you can experience a tremendous amount of thrills and excitement in just three days. Orlando is home to numerous attractions of varying interests. From indoor skydiving, mini golf and go-karts to theme parks, water parks, themed dining and designer outlet stores, Orlando has it all. Here are a few sample itineraries that will give you an idea of how to spend three days in the area.

Three-day Disney
Walt Disney World Resort encompasses four major theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot. With a three-day park-hopper pass you can spend your vacation going between three out of the four parks. Eat lunch at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom then walk the trails at Animal Kingdom. Explore technological innovations and indulge in worldly cuisine at Epcot, then wind down at the firework show at Hollywood Studios. Mix it up a little and have a good time.

Disney and Universal
With an option like this you can spend two days park-hopping at the Disney theme parks and your other day with a one-day, two-park Universal pass that grants you admission to both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. A different spin on this package is to spend two days at Universal, getting admission to both parks, and one day at one Disney park. This option would be better suited for guests who want to spend less time at Disney of course. And you can spend the evening eating at a themed restaurant in CityWalk or doing some shopping and dining at Downtown Disney. You might even want to catch a show at Cirque du Soleil. Whatever you choose to do, it can be done… even in just three days.

SeaWorld and Disney
If you aren’t interested in the Universal parks but you’d rather see Shamu and Mickey, check out a package that includes one-day admission to SeaWorld and a two-day park-hopper pass allowing you to jump around the Disney parks. This means you will be able to see five parks in three days if you want to. How’s that for making good use of your time?!

Disney, Universal and SeaWorld
A package like this will provide you with a one-day ticket to a Disney Park as well as to a Universal park and to SeaWorld. Such an itinerary is perfect for guests who wish to see as much diversity as possible and get a little bit out of each theme park.

As you’ve probably noticed, it’s quite possible to fit a lot to do into three days’ worth of vacation time. And remember to consider where you stay too. You have the option of staying on theme park property or in a tourist district like International Drive—that is both close to the theme parks and offers a plethora of additional attractions, dining, shopping and entertainment options. And remember to factor transportation too. Many hotels provide shuttles to theme parks, there’s a trolley on International Drive, you can always take your own car, or you can rent a car or get a taxi. However you choose to travel, know that there are plenty of ways to transport yourself into the thrills of Orlando.

My husband was sharing with me the other day about a fairly new concept for booking a vacation to Orlando. Most people book their theme park tickets and Orlando hotel or vacation home separately from one another, but their a few select companies out there that will combine your accommodations with your Orlando theme park tickets into one convenient Orlando vacation package. It truly is one stop shopping.

The theme park tickets that you purchase can be to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, Universal Studios Orlando and Sea World Orlando. You can purchase tickets for both adults and children and you have plenty of multi-day ticket options. Now, when it comes to accommodations, you can select either a vacation home, condo, villa, town home or hotel in the Orlando area. All of the accommodations are pretty close to the theme parks. Some are just about 5 or 10 minutes away from them.

What’s great about purchasing an Orlando Vacation Package is that when you combine your tickets and lodging, you get them at one low price so it really does offer your family the best option for saving money on your Orlando vacation.
